Dr. Thai Tran is the directing Optometrist at Atlas Optometry, located in Costa Mesa, CA. Dr. Tran is responsible for all eye care activities and procedures performed at Atlas Optometry. This includes eye exams, contact lens exams, eye care, Ortho-K and all other vision related procedures.
Dr. Thai Tran – Biography
Dr. Tran grew up in Orange County, where he completed his pre-college studies.
He went on to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he completed his undergraduate studies. Dr. Tran earned his first bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at UCSB.
After completing his studies at UCSB, Dr. Tran continued his studies at Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry. At NSU, Dr. Tran earned his second bachelor’s degree in Vision Science, and earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree.
Dr. Tran has been providing eye care to Orange County and the surrounding cities for close to a decade. He is the directing Optometrist at Atlas Optometry.

Orthokeratology
Dr. Tran has been providing care for Ortho-K (Orthokeratology) patients for close to a decade. He has experience in various types of Ortho-K designs.
At Altas Optometry, Dr. Tran offers patients Ortho-K therapy using the Paragon CRT design.

Lasik Co-Management
Dr. Tran is the Lasik co-management Optometrist at Atlas Optometry.
Dr. Tran is responsible for the pre-operative testing and post-operative care of Lasik patients. Dr. Tran provides Lasik care to patients in Costa Mesa and the surrounding cities.
